Died Sunday evening February 21, 2010 at his residence. Dennis was born March 7, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan a son of Jack and Ruth (Hood) Lancaster. He attended school in Lincoln Park, MI, Central Michigan University, and received his BSN at Nazareth College, he was in the process of obtaining a masters in Nursing Administration at WMU at the time of his death. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident for 8 years and was employed with Borgess Hospital for 30 years. Dennis was also a member of various nursing organizations. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dennis is survived by his friend, William "Bill" A. Prentice of Kalamazoo; a brother, Brick (Becky) Lancaster of Atlanta, GA; a niece, Amy Lancaster of Atlanta, GA; a nephew, Marc (Sarah) Lancaster of Lorton, VA; and many beloved friends and cousins. Private services and burial will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to S.P.C.A.
